We start by working on the rear axle. First we installed our Axial rear lock-out kit (STA30494) Although the ARTR already came with a rear lock-out, our aluminum units will be much more durable than the plastic kit unit and less likely to flex.

After disassembling the front axle from the main chassis and links, we first remove the center servo mounting plate as we will be replacing this with the battery/servo plate.
